DMCA Copyright Policy

TerryTrilla LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our Platform to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and will respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.
1. Designated DMCA Agent

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice (Copyright Owner)
If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice containing all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered, a representative list)
- Identification of the infringing material on our Platform, with sufficient detail to allow us to locate it (e.g., URL, course name, screenshot)
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement of good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement of accuracy and authority, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature

Notices that do not comply with all of the above requirements may not receive a response.
3. Our Response to Takedown Notices
Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA notice, TerryTrilla will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
- Notify the user who posted the content (if applicable)
- Document the notice for our records
4. Filing a Counter-Notice (User Whose Content Was Removed)
If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing:
- Identification of the removed material and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or Sheridan County, Wyoming if you are outside the US), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice
- Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may reinstate the content within 10–14 business days unless the copyright owner files a court action.
5. Compliance with Standard Technical Measures
In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), TerryTrilla accommodates and does not interfere with standard technical measures used by copyright owners to identify or protect copyrighted works. These include digital watermarks, fingerprinting systems, and other technologies that have been developed pursuant to a broad consensus of copyright owners and service providers.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
TerryTrilla LLC has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. TerryTrilla maintains internal records of all DMCA notices received and actions taken in order to identify repeat infringers and enforce this policy consistently.
7. Abuse of the DMCA Process
Submitting a false DMCA notice is a violation of US law and may expose you to liability for damages, including legal costs and attorneys' fees (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)). We reserve the right to seek such remedies against any party who submits a fraudulent takedown notice.
8. Copyright Ownership of Platform Content
All original content on the TerryTrilla Platform — including course materials, videos, graphics, software, and instructional text — is the exclusive property of TerryTrilla LLC or its licensed content partners and is protected under US and international copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of Platform content is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and criminal penalties.
